BLOK was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2021 and, as an owner-managed M&A consultancy, supports medium-sized family businesses, multinational corporations, and Private Equity in all aspects of company sales and acquisitions, as well as in the implementation of buy-and-build strategies, mergers, venture capital, and capital increases.

The market for corporate succession is booming, which is also increasingly attracting consultants who are entering the industry as career changers. We stand for impeccable Investment Banking, and at the same time, we places great value maintaining our authenticity. This means no focus on tailor-made suits, handkerchiefs and luxury watches, but sleeves up and full attention to the project and the individual optimal support of our clients.

Your Tasks

  • Support partners in demanding corporate transactions
  • Sales mandates on behalf of medium-sized entrepreneurs, corporate groups, and financial investors on a national and international level
  • Preparation of longlists, and information memorandum through due diligence to the negotiation phase
  • Customer contact and market approach
  • Company valuation, preparation of financial models Preparation of transaction documents

Your Profile

  • You have an excellent degree with a focus on finance and ideally already 6-12 months of work experience (e.g., through internships) in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, or strategy consulting.
  • You already know the valuation of business models and financial modeling (DCF, multiples, etc.)
  • You are well organized and work efficiently, reliably, and accurately even with an increased workload and tight deadlines
  • You are not afraid to communicate directly, are always open to new and better solutions, and strive for continuous development
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English and German and communicate confidently with colleagues, clients, and our business partners.
