BLOK was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2021 and, as an owner-managed M&A consultancy, supports medium-sized family businesses, multinational corporations and private equity in all aspects of company sales and acquisitions, as well as in the implementation of buy-and-build strategies, mergers, venture capital and capital increases. The market for corporate succession is booming, which is also increasingly attracting consultants who are switching to the sector as career changers. We are committed to providing investment banking services with impeccable craftsmanship, while at the same time attaching great importance to maintaining our authenticity. This means no focus on tailor-made suits, pocket squares and luxury watches, but rather sleeves up and full attention to the project and the best possible individual support for our clients.

Your tasks

  • You will be an important part of our dedicated M&A team that supports national and international clients in the execution of transactions
  • Our projects need your support from the creation of longlists, the development of the information memorandum to the due diligence and negotiation phase
  • You will be in contact with our clients from day 1 and accompany market presentations by family entrepreneurs, managing directors, CFOs, investment and corporate finance professionals
  • Your range of tasks will include the determination of company values, the development of financial models and corresponding analyses as well as the preparation of classic transaction documents

Your profile

  • You have an excellent degree with a focus on finance and ideally already have 6-12 months of professional experience (e.g. through internships) in M&A, corporate finance, private equity or strategy consulting
  • You already have knowledge in the valuation of business models and financial modeling (DCF, multiples, etc.)
  • You are well organized and work efficiently, reliably and accurately even with an increased workload and tight deadlines
  • You are not afraid to communicate directly, are always open to new and better solutions and strive for constant further development
  • With business fluent oral and written English and German, you communicate confidently with colleagues, clients and our business partners

  • You will manage a wide range of marketing and communication measures, including event organization, and implement them in coordination with the management.
  • You manage the editorial team for our website and our newsletter.
  • You will continue to expand our social media presence and contribute to the development of new channels.
  • You plan and implement SEO and keyword strategies and analyze SEO reports.
  • You coordinate the cooperation with our external service providers in the areas of communication and marketing.
  • Market observation, controlling and reporting of marketing and communication activities are also part of your area of responsibility.

Your profile

  • Ideally, you have a degree in marketing or business and have already gained some professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Initial contact with our industry is an advantage, but not a must.
  • You solve complex issues on your own initiative and think economically in the interests of the company
  • Your analytical and creative skills are complemented by strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • You are open to new ideas and have an affinity for digital solutions.
