At our event with Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) at the SNP Arena (formerly PreZero Arena), it quickly became clear just how many parallels there are.<\/p>\n<p>More than 100 entrepreneurs joined us for the evening. The focus was on current developments in the capital markets, the most common pitfalls in M&#038;A processes and what businesses can learn from professional sports.<\/p>\n<p>Matthias Luck provided insights into current capital market developments and highlighted the opportunities and risks they present for entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p>We then turned to the five most common deal killers in M&#038;A processes. When a transaction fails, it is not always down to the numbers. More often, the reasons include insufficient preparation, unrealistic expectations or a lack of effective communication.<\/p>\n<p>To close the evening, Erik Meijer shared personal insights from his experience in professional sports and highlighted the parallels between elite sport and entrepreneurship. His conclusion: success requires focus, discipline and the right team.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the presentations, there was plenty of opportunity for personal exchange. Over good conversations and in a unique setting, our guests were able to continue discussing the topics of the evening and make new connections.<\/p>\n<p>A big thank you to all our guests for a great evening and to Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) for the trustful collaboration.
