Widder GmbH W\u00e4rmetechnik in connection with the sale of the company to Dutch VDK Groep B.V., a portfolio company of EMK Capital LLP.<\/p>\n<p>M. Widder GmbH W\u00e4rmetechnik is an established provider of heating, cooling and sanitary technology in the Rhine-Main region. The company\u2019s predecessor, Lietz, was founded in 1978 by owner Manfred Widder. The present-day M. Widder GmbH was established in 1993, the same year in which Karsten Widder joined the company. M. Widder has a strong regional presence and a long-standing network of construction companies, general contractors and project developers. The company focuses primarily on commercial clients in building construction as well as on the industrial and commercial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>VDK Groep is a rapidly growing European group of locally rooted, independently operating installation and maintenance companies. With more than 175 companies, over 8,300 skilled employees and annual revenues of approximately \u20ac2 billion, the group provides multidisciplinary, end-to-end technical solutions in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Austria and Switzerland and continues to expand its presence.<\/p>\n<p>Through the acquisition, VDK Groep gains a strongly established partner in the Rhine-Main region and further expands its platform, particularly through M.
